This project consists of the construction of a new Automated Storage and Retrieval System, with an associated low bay and electrical room addition to an existing food processing plant. The new addition is adjacent to an existing dock structure approximately 19’-0” high.
The new ASRS is a rack supported structure approximately 100’ high. This warehouse has 37 bays with 14 levels of storage for a total of 8,443 pallet positions. The ASRS is fully automated and is unattended. This structure is protected by an automatic sprinkler system. The addition is also separated from the existing building by a 2-hour rated fire barrier per FM Global.
